The Vanity Fair section of our Gallery has now been completed, with additional stills, posters, promotional photos, and trailer screencaptures being added today. I really enjoyed this film – Reese really bought Becky to life and carried the film against some prestigious British actors. Director Mira Nair said of casting American Reese in the classic English role: “I cast intuitively – in my films I cast as many non-actors as I cast actors. For me, it is intuition – I have to fall in love with an actor. It is a visceral response. Thackeray describes Becky Sharp as a minx. Also she’s described as someone who’s tiny, red-headed and thin. Reese had that completely minx-like irresistibility about her.” Enjoy the additional photos, and check back soon for more movie updates…

To continue our mission to complete the Gallery, the Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde section has now been updated and completed. Additional stills, posters & super-pretty promotional photoshoots have been added, along with screencaptures from a cute teaser trailer that I hadn’t seen before (watch it below!). As much as I love Elle Woods, this movie felt like a mis-fire and didn’t seem to capture the depth or real character of Elle seen in the first film.
More movie updates to come đ

Reese’s recent Disney fantasy adventure film A Wrinkle In Time can now be found on digital download and blu-ray/DVD, and we’ve added gorgeous HD screencaptures from the film! Reese was charming as the inexperienced but enthusiastic Mrs WhatsIt, but I found the film overall to be underwhelming and impersonal. There were some beautiful costumes and set designs though, and as a result we have some very pretty screencaptures:

In the last few weeks the Gallery has been updated with over 250 additional photos from the 2017 Emmys show & HBO After Party. As you will remember, Big Little Lies took home a number of awards, and Reese was honoured for her role as a producer on the show. This batch of photos has some fabulous shots from the show, and of Reese celebrating at the after party with her gold Emmy – I particularly love the photos with her co-stars, and Ava! More photos from the red carpet and press room coming soon…

Celebrity influencers to world leaders: ‘We put you on notice’
Oprah Winfrey, Madeleine Albright and Reese Witherspoon are among 140 activists, actors, business leaders and philanthropists to sign an open letter to world leaders demanding that they take action to close the gender gap and combat poverty.
“We’re putting you on notice,” the letter reads. “For 130 million girls without an education. For one billion women without access to a bank account. For 39,000 girls who became child brides today. For women everywhere paid less than a man for the same work.”
The letter is part of the “Poverty is Sexist” campaign spearheaded by ONE, an advocacy group co-founded by U2 singer Bono.
“There is nowhere on earth where women have the same opportunities as men, but the gender gap is wider for women living in poverty,” the letter says.
Valerie Amos, Chelsea Clinton, Arianna Huffington and Sheryl Sandberg are among the scores of influential signatories on the letter, ONE says.
The convener of Nigeria’s “Bring Back Our Girls” campaign, Oby Ezekwesili, also signed, as did actors and comedians including Meryl Streep, Tina Fey, Amy Schumer and Juliette Binoche.

Reese Witherspoon is adding another show to her growing list of productions.
Witherspoon and her media company Hello Sunshine, which focuses on telling female-driven stories, announced her newest show, âMeet My Mom,â which debuts Thursday (10th) on Facebook Watch. The five-episode, short form series centers on a chat between a celebrity and his/her mom, with the âBig Little Liesâ star and her mother Betty kicking off the first episode.
âAs a child, itâs sometimes hard to see your mom as an individual with her own life,â Witherspoon said in a statement. âBut âMeet My Momâ is the chance to get to know the real person behind the mom and find out what really makes her tick. Iâm excited to bring this concept to the Facebook community and to hear from all of the other wonderful, hard-working moms out there.â
Reese Witherspoon and her mom Betty drink sweet tea on a Nashville porch and talk movies, nerds, and sneaking out past curfew.

The rest of the series will stream throughout May and feature âWestworldâsâ Leonardo Nam, YouTube star Lilly Singh, Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, and model Ashley Graham in conversations with their families. âMeet My Momâ can be seen on the Facebook site, mobile app, and its TV apps.

Martina Navratilova Documentary to Be Produced by Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoonâs Hello Sunshine is developing its first feature-length documentary about tennis legend Martina Navratilova in partnership with Glenn Greenwald and Suzanne Gilbert.
The documentary will explore Navratilovaâs achievements as a social justice pioneer told through Greenwaldâs personal lens as a gay child growing up in Reagan-era Florida. The documentary will examine Navratilovaâs impact on him as his childhood hero, how people find role models, and what people seek when they feel isolated, judged, or cast aside by society.
âThe issues raised by Martinaâs legacy resonate now more than ever, which is why itâs so important to tell her story to new generations of engaged young people who may not be aware of the vital role she played in shaping expectations around female identity and LGBT equality,â said Charlotte Koh, head of digital media and programming for Hello Sunshine.
Koh is also producing the project. âHaving producers Glenn and Suzanne reframe Martinaâs impact on society through the lens of Glennâs personal coming-of-age journey creates a fresh, intimate, and relatable film for a wide audience,â she added.
Navratilova is regarded as one of the best tennis players of all time. She won 18 singles titles, 31 major womenâs doubles titles, and 10 major mixed doubles titles.
âAs monumental as Martinaâs on-court achievements were, they pale in comparison to her role as a pioneer and trailblazer on questions of feminism, womenâs athletics, equality for gay and lesbians across the planet, transgender visibility, immigrant rights, and the right of political dissent,â Greenwald said. âIâm excited to be partnering with Reese and Hello Sunshine to explore her truly enduring legacy, her remarkable courage directly or indirectly inspiring millions of people who lacked any other role models.â
Greenwald plans to feature materials and memories shared by fans all across the world that demonstrate Navratilovaâs impact on various social and political initiatives.
Greenwaldâs work with Edward Snowden was chronicled in the documentary âCitizenFour,â which won the Academy Award in 2015, and the film âSnowdenâ in 2016.
Witherspoon founded Hello Sunshine in 2016 with the goal of promoting female authorship and storytelling. Itâs developed a Hulu limited series from Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, based on Celeste Ngâs âLittle Fires Everywhereâ; an untitled morning show series produced by and starring Jennifer Aniston and Witherspoon, which was given a two-season order by Apple; a film for Fox 2000 based on the novel âSomething in the Waterâ; and âA White Lie,â a psychological thriller for TriStar Pictures.
