It looks like the production of Four Christmases has not been affected by the strike and will begin shooting in the middle of this week in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California. If you’re interested in appearing as an extra in the movie, check out the Extras Casting Page and Beau Bonneau Casting for further details – and good luck!
Happy December to all of Reese’s fans! 🙂
Is there a better way to kick off this exciting month than with an excellent piece of news?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, none other than Ms Witherspoon is the highest payed actress in Hollywood as she’s able to command a huge $15 million-$20 million a movie! The other two ladies in the top three include Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz. Here’s what they said about Reese:
1. Reese Witherspoon — $15 million-$20 million
America’s sweetheart is returning to her romantic comedy — and box office green — roots with the slated Christmas 2008 release of New Line’s Four Christmases, which Witherspoon is also producing. Her upcoming schedule remains active with the horror flick Our Family Trouble, produced by her own Type A Films, but the hardworking actress and producer recently took a hit with the flop of New Line’s Rendition, which received more action from its behind-the-scenes romance rumors than at the box office.
The top ten:
1. Reese Witherspoon — $15 million-$20 million
2. Angelina Jolie — $15 million-$20 million
3. Cameron Diaz — $15+ million
4. Nicole Kidman — $10 million-$15 million
5. Renee Zellweger — $10 million-$15 million
6. Sandra Bullock — $10 million-$15 million
7. Julia Roberts — $10 million-$15 million
8. Drew Barrymore — $10 million-$12 million
9. Jodie Foster — $10 million-$12 million
10. Halle Berry — $10 million
On February 19, 2008, Warner Home Video will release Rendition on DVD. The film revolves around the United States’ recent liking to extraordinary renditions of innocent people, and features an all-star cast, including Meryl Streep, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Reese Witherspoon. It will surely contain bonus materials and extra features, although none have currently been announced and will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) of $28.98. Box art is currently unavailable.

New Line has tapped Robert Duvall for the holiday comedy Four Christmases, starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon.
The mini-major’s planning on a December production start for Four Christmases, which is set up at Spyglass with Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum and Jonathan Glickman producing. Vaughn and Witherspoon also are producing the pic, in which a couple struggles to visit all four divorced parents on Christmas Day.
Seth Gordon is directing from a script by the writing team of Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson. New Line’s hopeful it can get Four Christmases into theaters during next year’s holiday season.

As you may have previously read, Reese’s son Deacon dreams of becoming a pizza boy. Well, Pizza Hut has now written an open letter to the child – they have a job waiting for him!
“Dear Deacon,” writes Sandi Karrmann, identified as the “Chief People Officer” for the pizza chain, “We recently heard that you want to be a pizza delivery driver when you grow up. How wonderful! You’ve got several years to go before you can join our team, but in the meantime we’re sending you a few things, so that you can practice.”
The company’s gifts to the boy include a Pizza Hut uniform “that’s just your size,” writes Karrmann, who also sent a mini-delivery car “for you to polish your driving skills,” as well as gift cards for Pizza Hut pizzas.
Also included: encouragement. “We have delivery drivers who have worked for us for 10, 15, even 20 years!” says the letter. “And the same Pizza Hut drivers who deliver hot, fresh pizzas right to your door have gone on to become successful business, doctors, lawyers and, yes, actors.”

I came across some new footage of Reese promoting Rendition and made screencaps for the gallery. Nothing huge but still nice to see. I’ll be adding videos of these at a later date, once I have a little more time in my hands. 🙂
