Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, Chelsea Handler and director McG from ‘This Means War’ get downright foul-mouthed in the best way possible in this episode of Fanswers. Your questions got them very rowdy friends…and it makes us all the more excited to watch the movie!
USA Today have a fantastic new interview with Reese, Tom Hardy, Chris Pine and McG in which they talk all about the casting and filming of the movie. It’s a really good read so don’t miss it! Alongside the interview is a new photoshoot picture, most likely taken just before or after the LA premiere of the movie, based on the dress Reese is wearing in it.

Reese Witherspoon gets all kinds of action in ‘War’
This is one heck of a visual Valentine.
That’s what most moviegoers will likely think mere minutes into This Means War, as Bond-like CIA hunks Tom Hardy, 34, and Chris Pine, 31, spend an hour and a half battling (not quite to the death) for a sassy, svelte Reese Witherspoon, 35.
But back on the chilly Vancouver set, the cast says it was more of a battle of the wits. Especially with Chelsea Handler on hand playing Trish, Witherspoon’s best friend.
The bawdy Handler “never even stayed on the script, I didn’t even know what she was saying,” grins Witherspoon, who plays Lauren Scott, a consumer products watchdog.
Today at the Four Seasons hotel, Witherspoon is sandwiched between Hardy and Pine in a little black dress, kicking up her red-soled Louboutins as she talks. As Handler ad-libbed, “I would try not to laugh, but they’d usually put me off-screen so they couldn’t see my face. I was crying I was laughing so hard.”
The guys, whose characters spend most of War wooing Witherspoon, engaging in hand-to-hand-combat over her and pranking each other in her name, were always late to the best jokes.
Reese was featured in USA Weekend magazine last weekend, with a new photoshoot and interview! The interview focusses on the usual things, but it’s still a good read, and I particularly liked the focus on Reese being a mom. And the photoshoot is casual and colourful!
I’ve added the interview to our newly-started press page (more on that in the coming days) and for now you can find the link below. The photoshoot is in our Gallery.
“Who doesn’t dance around their living room singing?” the actress says with a girlish, machine-fun laugh. “Honestly, I do it all the time with my kids and they roll their eyes . I’m like, ‘C’mon, it’s a dance party!’ And they’re like, ‘No!’
Third on the TV appearances list for Reese yesterday was Letterman, and she looked lovely on the show in a chic red Antonio Berardi Pre-Fall 2012 dress. On the way in and out of the studios she kept warm in a black jacket by The Row … keen eyed fans will remember Reese telling Glamour magazine that she is obsessed with a black bag from that brand, so I wonder if she treated herself to this coat, or whether it was lent to her for the appearance!? 😛 Back to the Letterman interview, I haven’t watched the interview itself yet so can’t tell you what they chatted about, but knowing Reese it was sure to be a good one. Watch the video below!
I’ve added almost 100 photos of Reese arriving at the studios to tape her appearance, and she obviously took time to smile for the cameras and wave to watching fans. I will add screencaps from this interview in the next few days – I’m again trying to make sure I can get the best possible quality of screencaps for your added viewing pleasure 😉

Reese was also on Live With Kelly yesterday, with a very animated interview with Kelly and co-host Randy Jackson. They chatted about miracle garments, the pressures of the red carpet for women, being a style icon and her character in This Means War. It was a good interview, and nice to see her chat about something different. Watch it below!
I’m going to hold off on making screencaps from this video for now, as I am hoping a better quality version will be available in a few days. Either way, you can expect to see screencaps from this interview in some format later this week.
