Ms. Witherspoon looked like a true movie star at the Toronto Film Festival Rendition premiere. She wore a stunning black number and had her hair on soft waves. It may be one of my personal favorite Reese looks of all time!

Even Witherspoon, normally the most spirited of performers who can inject even limited characters and blah scripts with her own spark, can do little but mope around and search for different ways to look worried. A limited acting exercise, to say the least.

Reese Witherspoon is currently in Toronto, Canada at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival. She attended the press conference for Redition earlier today with fellow cast Jake Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard, and looked stunning in black and navy blue dress with black pumps. Her hair was lovely in loose waves! The first available pictures are now up in the gallery. The world premiere of the film is tonight so I’m sure we’ll see premiere pictures soon!

On the same day Reese Witherspoon was announced as the very first Avon Global Ambassador, there was a walk for Breast Cancer at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and Reese attended having changed into a lovely black dress. Rendition, featuring Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal and Meryl Streep, will have a gala presentation at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, organizers announced Tuesday. This will most likely mark the world premiere of the film.

The 32nd Toronto International Film Festival runs September 6 to 15.

On March 6, Reese attended the P. S. Arts Bag Lunch. She was photographed with Zooey Deschanel. L.A. socialite Colleen Bell, hosted the fourth annual event at her Bel-Air home with Elizabeth Stewart from The New York Times and C Magazine’s George Kotsiopoulos.

With 100 percent of the proceeds going to arts education for California’s public schools, attendees Reese Witherspoon, Zooey Deschanel, and Kristin Davis could feel good about spending big. After raising $180,000, everyone grabbed a “brown-bag lunch” filled with a Cobb salad or a gourmet sandwich and headed to the garden, where, Bell notes, “lots of sangria with fresh fruit” was served.
