The New York City premiere of Water For Elephants is currently in progress and the first photos are now popping up online! Reese looks gorgeous in a little white puffy Jason Wu dress and her hair up. Below are a few preview photos, and we will have a full – and no doubt huge – batch for you in the coming days, along with videos, tidbits, quotes etc.

And to top off our massive updates for today, I have something I think you’ll really love đ Last Saturday Reese took part in the Water For Elephants press conference, and she looked lovely in a little red dress and a new choppy hairstyle. I love her new hairstyle, and based on her expressions in the photos, she looks her usual chirpy self!
This was her first appearance since her wedding, and the photographers of course zoomed their lenses in on her left hand, and we can see her classy wedding ring!

Last Sunday Reese attended the Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. She looked super-pretty in a little black strapless lace dress by Marchesa, with black pumps and her blonde hair left down. Reese did not walk the red carpet, but once inside she and Water For Elephants co-star Robert Pattinson presented the award for ‘Female Vocalist Of The Year’, which went to Miranda Lambert. She was also seen posing backstage and in the audience with various stars, including Taylor Swift. Reese and Robert seemed to be having fun joking around backstage too!

Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson are scheduled to present together on the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, the academy announced today.
The ACM Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 3 on the CBS Television Network. Hosted by Oklahoma natives and country music stars Reba and Blake Shelton, the ceremony honors country musicâs top talent as well as the industryâs hottest emerging artists.
Nancy OâDell and Ryan Seacrest also will be presenters on the ACM Awards.
In addition, Alabama, Dierks Bentley, Ronnie Dunn, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Reba, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood and Zac Brown Band with James Taylor and Entertainer of the Year nominees Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban have been announced as performers.
Witherspoon is best known for her Academy Award-winning portrayal of country music singer June Carter Cash in the 2005 film, âWalk the Line.â Pattinson is best known for his portrayal of vampire Edward Cullen in the âTwilightâ saga. In April, Witherspoon and Pattinson will co-star in the feature film, âWater for Elephants.â
Nancy OâDell, âEntertainment Tonightâsâ Emmy Award-winning journalist, has proven to be a force in all areas of her career as a host, author, producer and entrepreneur. Currently Special Correspondent, OâDell will assume the role of co-anchor of âEntertainment Tonightâ after Mary Hart ends her final season in May 2011.
Ryan Seacrest is at the forefront of the media and entertainment industry. Seacrest is celebrated internationally as host of âAmerican Idol,â and hosts and produces E! News as well as its red carpet awards show coverage. He also serves as an executive producer and co-hosts âDick Clarkâs New Yearâs Rockinâ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.â
The first batch of photos from last night’s Oscars have now been added to the Gallery! Reese looked stunning I think … I was wondering what kind of look she’d go for this year, and I was so happy to see she’d gone for a full-on sexy and glamorous look. I was a little in awe when I first saw her appear on the red carpet on my TV screen! This may be one of new favourite looks of hers. She’s wearing Armani PrivĂ©, with Neil Lane jewellery (love those emerald earrings!). Once inside the ceremony, Reese presented the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, which (deservedly) went to her American Psycho co-star Christian Bale for his role in The Fighter. After presenting him with the award she posed backstage with him in the press room.
Post-ceremony, Miss Reese headed on over to the Vanity Fair After Party, where she was seen chatting to her good friend Michelle Williams, as well as Michelle’s BFF Busy Phillips, and Elizabeth Banks. Her fiance Jim Toth was also with her. It looks like she had a fun time!

It’s the big night!! Oscar night is upon us, and Reese has walked the red carpet and she is looking absolutely stunning in a black and white dress with her hair up. Below is the first photo, and I will probably update this post with a few more pics throughout the night, and then start full coverage with gallery updates, videos, articles and tidbits etc. starting from tomorrow.
Reese is presenting the award for Best Supporting Actor, which I think will be quite early on in the show.
I have to say, the photos online so far do not do justice to Reese’s look – she looked 10x more beautiful on the TV red carpet show!
Academy AwardÂź-winning actress Reese Witherspoon will be a presenter at the 83rd Academy Awards ceremony, telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced today.
In 2005 Witherspoon received her first OscarÂź nomination and took home the award for her leading performance as June Carter in “Walk the Line.” She’ll be seen next in “Water for Elephants” and “This Means War.” Her other film credits include “Monsters vs Aliens,” “Four Christmases,” “Penelope,” “Rendition,” “Sweet Home Alabama” and the “Legally Blonde” films.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2010 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland CenterÂź, and televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.
