Back in October, Reese attended a special screening for From Scratch, a new Netflix series she has produced. Reese posed on the red carpet with the series’ star Zoe Saldana, the creators Tembi and Attica Locke (the series is an adaptation of Tembi’s book), her producing partner Lauren Neustadter, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos, and other cast and crew from the series. Reese wore a fitted brown Roland Mouret dress with Louboutin heels.

Why Reese Witherspoon Thinks the Time Is Right for Netflix’s New Romance Limited Series ‘From Scratch’
When executive producer and Academy Award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon was tasked with casting a performer to play Amy Wheeler in “From Scratch,” Netflix’s limited series adaptation of Tembi Locke’s memoir, she looked no further than her dinner table.
Witherspoon was dining across from Zoe Saldaña, who was accompanied by her Italian husband and exchanging bits of dialogue in his native tongue, when she realized the “Avatar” star would be the perfect actor to play Amy.
Reese appeared The Bobby Bones Show radio show on November 23rd, to promote Busy Betty. She also chatted about her childhood, her kids, Where The Crawdads Sing and Taylor Swift’s song for the film, what she’s watching on TV (The Crown and White Lotus), what her focus for her company next year is (comedy!), and what quote from her films people say back to her most often. She also said that she got to keep the wedding dress from Sweet Home Alabama! Listen to the interview below:

Reese Witherspoon Reflects on ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ and How She’s Spending the Holidays
Nothing but sweet memories for Reese Witherspoon!
ET’s Cassie DiLaura spoke to the actress at the Something From Tiffany’s premiere, where she discussed the parallels between her new rom-com and her iconic Tiffany’s moment in 2002’s Sweet Home Alabama.
“I think there is something so magical about that Tiffany’s moment,” Witherspoon gushed. “I hear about it all the time, people say, that moment from Sweet Home Alabama, just really stays with people. I always love collaborating with the brand, ’cause it’s just this timeless, classic, beautiful brand and doesn’t everybody love something in a little blue box?”
As for what she loved most about shooting that “magical” scene at the beloved jewelry store — a scene she recreated back in 2015 — Witherspoon told ET it had to be having Tiffany’s all to herself.
“I think I was like, 24 years old, and it was a night shoot, so we were up all night, and they had closed down the whole store, so we were allowed to walk around and look at all the jewelry, everything,” The Morning Show star recounted. “And it was just magical. It was very magical.”
Witherspoon’s latest turn behind the camera brings that same sparkle, with Something From Tiffany’s bringing that rom-com magic to a new Christmas-time film. In the movie, out Dec. 9, Zoey Deutch plays a woman whose life gets upended when an engagement ring that was for someone else leads her to the person she’s meant to be with.
“It’s just a classic, kind of, misunderstanding movie, with it being Christmas, you got New York at Christmas time,” Witherspoon, who serves as an executive producer on the project, said. “It’s just one of those movies you want to sit and watch over and over again.”
With the holiday season around the corner, Witherspoon said she’ll be doing just that, as she and her family get cozy by the fire.
“Oh, so much fun,” she said of how the holidays will look like at her home. “We just do lots of baking and sitting cozy by the fire, I watched the Lindsay Lohan movie — loved it. Loved. Stuff like that. Things that are like, cozy and Christmas-y and holiday.”
Something From Tiffany’s premieres Dec. 9 on Prime Video.
Reese’s final promotional appearance this week was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday evening. They played a fun game of ‘What’s Behind Me’, and Reese chatted about Busy Betty, The Morning Show season 3, Dolly Parton, and Hello Sunshine. Reese again opted for Alexander McQueen for this appearance, wearing an off-the-shoulder black dress and belt from the designer, with shoes by Christian Louboutin. Reese appeared on The View on Wednesday, to promote Busy Betty. The interview was similar to GMA and The Today Show, with Reese talking about Busy Betty being based on her as a child, the trouble she got into as a child when trying to run businesses, and her mother’s influence on her. Reese talked about Hello Sunshine and putting women’s stories out there, what it is she loves about books, how she chooses which books to turn into movies or TV series including Where The Crawdads Sing, how she’s learned “every side of my business”, and that she doesn’t have ‘imposter syndrome’. They also chatted about Sweet Home Alabama and the appeal of romantic comedies, Lizzo, and season 3 of The Morning Show. Reese posed outside the studios with her book. Reese wore a pretty purple dress by Oscar De La Renta, with Christian Louboutin shoes and a Bottega Veneta purse.

Reese appeared on Today with Hoda and Jenna on Tuesday, to promote her new children’s book Busy Betty. Reese talked about her early experiences of business – including lemonade stands – and that she was “kooky” and had a “big personality” as a child! She said she didn’t play much with other children as she was too busy performing and singing Dolly Parton to them, and that her kindergarten teacher told her Mom this and her Mom put her in acting classes! She also talked about how she’s always found it important to see how different parts of film-making happen (she worked as a production assistant when she was younger), and the work she is doing now to develop more roles for women. Reese talked about the spirit of Busy Betty, as well as the difference between parenting young children and adult children. They mentioned that it is the 20th anniversary of Sweet Home Alabama and Reese said she’d “make some calls” to get a reboot/sequel made! 😉 Reese’s gorgeous red jacket and trousers are by Alexander McQueen, and her shoes are Christian Louboutin.

Reese appeared on Good Morning America yesterday, as part of her promotional tour for Busy Betty. She talked about how she came up with the idea of Busy Betty – she was looking through photos of herself as a child during the pandemic and was reminded of all the businesses she started when she was little, and she wanted to write a book to teach children about business concepts. She talked about the influence of her parents on her work ethic, the trouble she got into as a child with her businesses, her kids, how she harnessed her creativity to become successful, and The Morning Show. Reese wore a striking blue jacket and trousers by Alexander McQueen, with a Lafayette shirt and Manolo Blahnik shoes.

Reese attended the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Monday, where she was nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for The Morning Show. Unfortunately she didn’t win the award (it went to Zendaya for Euphoria), and The Morning Show went away empty-handed from its 3 nominations, but it’s still fantastic to see her nominated for her performance. Inside the show Reese was pictured alongside her The Morning Show co-star Martin Short (he guest starred in season 1), plus Jason Sudeikis, Laura Linney, and there was a Penelope reunion when she was spotted with Christina Ricci! Reese wore a sparkling blue and black sequin dress by Armani Prive, with Aquazzura heels and Tiffany & Co jewellery – her platinum necklace set had 160 carats of aquamarines, 49 carats of blue zircons, and nearly two carats of diamonds.
