Reese is currently in Rome, Italy to promote Rendition alongside director Gavin Hood and co-star Jake Gyllenhaal. They attended the press conference just a few moments ago and she looks super cute! I’ve added the first images for your viewing pleasure. Read on for a reportage on what Reese, Jake and Gavin had to say about the film.
Hailing from a country where an apartheid-era state death squad operated under the name Civil Co-operation Bureau, South African film maker Gavin Hood strips away at another sinister euphemism in his latest movie Rendition.
Speaking at a news conference at the Rome Film Festival where the film screened Sunday, Hood said: “Extraordinary renditions, enhanced interrogation – these are just fancy words. We wanted to put a human face to these abstract ideas.”

I hope you’re all having a great Rendition weekend. đ
Reese’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, October 23. You can check out Ellen’s site for a fun little preview. Stay tuned for caps and clips from this as well as yesterday’s The Today Show!
We have added a new layout to celebrate the release of Rendition. Like the previous design, this one was also created by our very own Mycah. As much as we loved the previous one, we felt like the site needed a change. This time we wanted to go for something less dark and more girly and fun and this layout certainly is all of that. Mycah used the new Elle images and I think did them perfect justice. We hope you enjoy this new layout as much as we do. Also if you have no already noticed you can now subscribe to Glamour Reese Witherspoon‘s news/RSS feeds. Look forward to more site changes in the near future!

âIt sounds like public-policy rigmarole. It doesnât sound like anything that you would connect with the torture and detainment of innocent people.â
