On behalf of my partner in crime Jess and all the loyal Glamour visitors, I want to wish Reese a very happy and wonderful 34th birthday. Feel free to leave your birthday wishes as a comment.
Columbia Pictures has made a deal to develop The Pioneer Woman, a romantic comedy that’s being shaped as a potential star vehicle for Reese Witherspoon. The studio has acquired rights to thepioneerwoman.com, a blog by Ree Drummond that details how a detour on a trip from L.A. to Chicago led her to Oklahoma. There, she met the cowboy of her dreams and transformed from spoiled city girl to domestic ranch wife.

Two of the biggest stars right now have been tapped to star alongside one another in the upcoming movie This Means War.
Reese Witherspoon is about to make every woman in the world jealous of her, since she’s snagged the leading role opposite Bradley Cooper.
The film is about two best friends since childhood who fall for the same woman (Witherspoon). Their friendship ends and their fight grows to epic proportions, taking out an entire city.
So not only does she get to act with Bradley, but she gets him to fight over her! Lucky girl! Charlie’s Angels director McG is helming this project.

Reese made another public appearance this month! She was spotted at the 13th Annual Unforgettable Evening which is a benefit event for the Womens Cancer Research Fund. She looked her usual gorgeous self in a little black lacy dress and black peeptoes. I’ve added lots of photos to our gallery so enjoy!
edit: I have learned that the beautiful dress she is wearing was designed by Jason Wu.

It was just a couple days ago that Reese took part in the Hope For Haiti telethon and we’re already hearing reports that the event raised $58 million – and still counting. This is such wonderful and heartwarming news!
“Thank you so much for your donation,” actress Reese Witherspoon told one caller. “You can’t imagine how much love and great, wonderful energy is here today. People are doing everything they can to make a difference in these people’s lives.”
Very last minute as the telethon is airing now (and I’ve seen Reese twice already) but Reese is answering phones at tonight’s Hope for Haiti charity telethon. You can watch the special right now on CNN, Mtv, and many other networks so check your local listings. We will post any photos and/or screencaptures as soon as they become available.
As if us Reese fans could forget! The Golden Globes air tonight and Reese is scheduled to be a presenter. We will be posting photos as soon as they become available and will likely continue the photo coverage over the next couple days as more come in.
67th Golden Globes

EDIT BY JESS: The forum is back online (temporarily) for us all to celebrate the event tonight, so drop on by to see the very first photos of Reese at the event, and chat as the show progresses!
We’re still here! With the holidays and the lack of any non-gossipy Reese news, there just hasn’t been much to post here unfortunately. I wanted to let our visitors know that Jess and I are working behind the scenes on converting the site completely to WordPress. While we don’t anticipate there being any issues, there could be moments where links don’t work properly or pages look a little off. We want to keep the site open while we do this so bear with us. It will all be worth it since this conversion is in preparation for a brand new theme which should be debuting sometime in the next few days.
