The 4th episode of Big Little Lies aired this past Sunday, and it left us with even more questions around the central mystery of the show! There were so many things I loved about this episode, including seeing Celeste coming into her own in the meeting room, the honest conversation between her and Madeline in the car afterwards and just generally more of the friendship between the two of them. Reese had some fantastic and hilarious scenes (“And next thing I know, he has his hand in my shirt … or was it my hand in his shirt? It was a reflex!”) coupled with some showing her sensitive side – I love how consistently dynamic and layered the characters are … and I’m particularly enjoying seeing how they develop the character of Ed.
