2016 Oscars Presenters: Second Group Announced
More presenters have been announced by Oscars producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin for the 2016 Oscar telecast.
This year’s presenters include several familiar faces as many are past Oscar nominees and winners. The following people will be handing out the coveted Oscar statues:
Steve Carell, Priyanka Chopra, Quincy Jones, Byung-hun Lee, Jared Leto, Julianne Moore, Olivia Munn, Margot Robbie, Jason Segel, Andy Serkis, J.K. Simmons, Kerry Washington, Reese Witherspoon
Most recently Julianne Moore took home a Best Actress Oscar for her role in Still Alice and Whiplash’s J.K. Simmons won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the 2015 ceremony. Jared Leto received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 2014 for his role in Dallas Buyers Club, while Steve Carell was a Best Actor nominee for Foxcatcher in 2015. Olivia Munn and Jason Segel will be hosting the 2016 Sci-Tech Awards honoring the achievements in film science and technology Saturday, February 13.
“These artists have enriched the international movie going experience with a range of memorable work from the comic to the profound,β Hudlin and Hill said in a statement. βIn the process, they have won over millions of fans, and we count ourselves among them.β
These presenters join the previously announced group which includes Kevin Hart and Ryan Gosling.
