As posted about last night, Reese attended the Barcelona premiere of Water For Elephants. I’ve now added lots more photos, most of which are in HQ! I’m also posting a bunch of videos from the event, which you can view further down this post.
Pics from today’s press conference coming up in a little while, or tomorrow, depending on time.
Reese is so cute, looks great here! It struck me that it must be hard work, going to all these press conferences, promoting and interviews… they need to be very patient. Plus all the travelling by airplane – the ride to Australia is loooooong and boring from Europe or the US…
On the plus side, they get to see all these places: Sydney, Paris, Barcelona, London…. wonderful! It is a shame that she missed out on Berlin, love that city!
It’s tragic enough that animals have to endure captivity let alone be forced to perform in films. Find some other way to tell your stories or make money. These intelligent and sensitive creatures are far too precious.
I won’t be taking my family to see your film and I’ll think long and hard about buying tickets to other Fox movies given your ignorant and out of date approach to making films.

Undercover video of the training of the
> elephant, named Tai, who starred in the film has now been released
> The story has been beautifully covered by
> reporter Lu Parker, on the Los Angeles station KTLA. >
> In the video we hear Tai scream as she is shocked with an electric prod,
> while standing on her head. Parker tells us that the “hot shots” used on
> elephants carry a million volts. We also see the trainer from “Have Trunk
> Will Travel,” who rented Tai out for the film and was reportedly on the
> set during training, holding a baby elephant by the trunk as she whacks
> her on the head with the sharp bullhook. It is hard to watch.

I thought more of your ethics and morals Reese…..
