There were plenty of choices on Valentine’s Day–including previews of 20th Century Fox’s Reese Witherspoon-Chris Pine-Tom Hardy action comedy This Means War. And in select cities across the country, Paramount and Fox held free screenings of Titanic in 3D (screenings were also held overseas). The Titanic re-release doesn’t officially open in theaters until April 4.
Previews of This Means War in 2,500 theaters generated a strong $1.7 million in previews, with hundreds of theaters reporting sel out shows. Top locations included theaters in Los Angeles, Oklahoma Theaters, Salt Lake City, Boston, New York, Seattle and El Paso.
This Means War officially debuts nationwide on Friday.
This Means War star Reese Witherspoon celebrated Valentine’s Day on the set of Conan last night. Getting in the spirit, Reese shared her celebrity crushes — girl crushes, that is!
“I have a girl crush on Rachel Bilson because I think she’s so cute,” Reese told Conan O’Brien on his show. “I also have a major girl crush on Jennifer Aniston. But, I mean, doesn’t everybody have a girl crush on Jennifer Aniston?”
“Dogs have crushes on Jeninfer Aniston,” Reese Joked. “There are dogs that are like, ‘I wish it were me in Marley & Me. She’s so cute.’ ”
But Reese’s crush shouldn’t come as a surprise. She recently revealed her crush while presenting Jen an award. “I played her younger sister on Friends mainly so I could meet Jennifer Aniston,” she explained. “She’s just so lovable and amazing.”
Reese also admitted she is in love with Pinterest!
“From what I can sort of see, it’s mainly for women and it’s mainly just a collection of the most amazing, wonderful craftiness on Earth!” she gushed.

Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, Chelsea Handler and director McG from ‘This Means War’ get downright foul-mouthed in the best way possible in this episode of Fanswers. Your questions got them very rowdy friends…and it makes us all the more excited to watch the movie!
Reese, Tom and Chris interviewed each other for Cinemax’s 60 Seconds interview series – watch below:

CNN have posted a small tidbit interview with Reese from the recent LA premiere of This Means War:
USA Today have a fantastic new interview with Reese, Tom Hardy, Chris Pine and McG in which they talk all about the casting and filming of the movie. It’s a really good read so don’t miss it! Alongside the interview is a new photoshoot picture, most likely taken just before or after the LA premiere of the movie, based on the dress Reese is wearing in it.

Reese Witherspoon gets all kinds of action in ‘War’
This is one heck of a visual Valentine.
That’s what most moviegoers will likely think mere minutes into This Means War, as Bond-like CIA hunks Tom Hardy, 34, and Chris Pine, 31, spend an hour and a half battling (not quite to the death) for a sassy, svelte Reese Witherspoon, 35.
But back on the chilly Vancouver set, the cast says it was more of a battle of the wits. Especially with Chelsea Handler on hand playing Trish, Witherspoon’s best friend.
The bawdy Handler “never even stayed on the script, I didn’t even know what she was saying,” grins Witherspoon, who plays Lauren Scott, a consumer products watchdog.
Today at the Four Seasons hotel, Witherspoon is sandwiched between Hardy and Pine in a little black dress, kicking up her red-soled Louboutins as she talks. As Handler ad-libbed, “I would try not to laugh, but they’d usually put me off-screen so they couldn’t see my face. I was crying I was laughing so hard.”
The guys, whose characters spend most of War wooing Witherspoon, engaging in hand-to-hand-combat over her and pranking each other in her name, were always late to the best jokes.

Reese was featured in USA Weekend magazine last weekend, with a new photoshoot and interview! The interview focusses on the usual things, but it’s still a good read, and I particularly liked the focus on Reese being a mom. And the photoshoot is casual and colourful!
I’ve added the interview to our newly-started press page (more on that in the coming days) and for now you can find the link below. The photoshoot is in our Gallery.
“Who doesn’t dance around their living room singing?” the actress says with a girlish, machine-fun laugh. “Honestly, I do it all the time with my kids and they roll their eyes . I’m like, ‘C’mon, it’s a dance party!’ And they’re like, ‘No!’
