Reese is still hard at work on the set of Water For Elephants in California, and this week has been looking completely stunning in a gorgeous red dress and a classic 1930’s hairstyle. It also looks like she’s filming a love scene with Robert Pattinson. HQs have been added to the Gallery!

Comments Off on 2006 Academy Awards – show screencaptures
I noticed we were missing screencaps from Reese’s special Oscar night back in 2006, so I downloaded a video of the show and have added screencaps today! This includes Reese presenting an award, some audience shots, and of course her Best Actress speech. There are a lot of screencaps in there, but I don’t think any of us mind seeing a lot of that beautiful face up on the Oscar stage 😉

Reese has been photographed on the set of Water For Elephants this week, and I’ve added lots of HQ photos from the set into the Gallery. Hopefully we’ll have more photos of Reese as Marlena soon!

Comments Off on ‘Friends’ photos re-added
While re-watching Friends for the millionth time, I realised I needed to re-cap Reese’s two guest episodes, and so have done that today! Over 400 new screencaps from Reese’s two episodes as Jill Greene in Season 6 (2000) have been added to the Gallery, alongside the stills that were in our old Gallery plus two new HQ stills. Reese is just hilarious in these episodes and her facial expressions are priceless! Despite it being only two guest appearances, this is probably some of my favourite work of Reese’s.
Also, I wanted to remind you why updates are slow around here at the moment. They will continue to be slow for another few weeks as my offline life continues to be very busy. But I’m looking forward to doing a lot of work on re-building the Gallery as soon as I have more time! I did do a massive update a few weeks ago, and will post about that asap when the section is complete.
Jill: You know, I’m doing all these different sorts of things, and maybe I should try dating a geek, too!
Rachel: Yeah, but, you know, you don’t… you don’t want to try too much too fast. You know? I mean, you do remember what happened to the little girl that tried too much too fast, don’t you?
Rachel: She… she died, Jill.
Jill: So, what do you think?
Rachel: Well, I… I don’t like it.
Rachel: It’s kinda slutty.
Jill: It’s yours!
Rachel: Yeah, well, I’m… I’m a slut.
Jill: Me too.

Scans from 1998 have been re-added! As with all the old scans from this site, there are some rare treats in there 😀
And I’m going to remind you all of this post in case you visit the site in the next few weeks, find there are no updates, and wonder why 😉

Just a small update today, fans! Whilst browsing a site today I came across some gorgeous ‘For Your Consideration’ adverts for Walk The Line, and decided to add them to the Gallery straight away! Because who doesn’t love some Walk The Line/Oscar nostalgia?!
I’m working on re-vamping the site and re-building the Gallery, so please continue to bear with me!

Reese was featured on Entertainment Tonight on March 10th, after the Avon & Vital Voices Breakfast Meeting event. She spoke about the work Avon is doing for anti-violence against women campaigns. Reese also joked that she tells her kids that Michelle Obama’s kids only get dessert at the weekends, and she laughed when asked if she had any political aspirations!
The lovely Brianne has kindly sent us a video of the appearance that aired on TV screens, and I’ve added screencaps of that to the Gallery. You can watch the extended online version below.

Actress Reese Witherspoon says her “Legally Blonde” character Elle Woods has been ousted as the most stylish woman to come to the nation’s capital by first lady Michelle Obama.
Speaking Wednesday at a ceremony where Mrs. Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton presented the annual International Women of Courage awards, Witherspoon jokingly complained that Woods, the bubbly blonde from Los Angeles who discovers her inner strength at Harvard Law School and then takes on Washington politics, no longer held that title.
“As an actress, I have always sought out roles that portrayed women as strong and powerful, such as Elle Woods, who was in the ‘Legally Blonde’ movies,” she said to laughter from the audience in an ornate State Department reception room.
Woods, she said, “happened to be the biggest fashionista who ever came to Washington until Michelle Obama. Thanks a lot.”
Clinton then introduced Mrs. Obama as “stylish,” and the first lady returned the compliment to the entire crowd, saying: “You all look fabulous.”
Witherspoon was at the ceremony as a global ambassador for the Avon Foundation, which supports breast cancer research, anti-domestic violence programs and women’s empowerment projects. On Wednesday the group announced a $500,000 contribution to the State Department’s Fund for Global Women’s Leadership.
