Additional stills, plus posters, a promotional photoshoot, trailer screencaptures and behind the scenes photos from Reese’s 2002 movie The Importance Of Being Earnest have been added to our Gallery today. Reese starred as Cecily Cardew alongside Colin Firth, Rupert Everett, Frances O’Connor and Judi Dench in this comedy based on Oscar Wilde’s novel. Reese described her character as “headstrong”, and “understands a lot about social grace but has a tendency to throw it all away in the spirit of having fun and having a good time”. The film is a lot of fun, and Reese brings her usual charm to it!
Cecily: “You must not laugh at me, darling, but it has always been a girlish dream of mine to love a man named Ernest.”
Last month the Legally Blonde section of the Gallery was completed, with new stills, posters, behind the scenes and promotional photoshoot pictures being added, along with a full set of fabulous HD screencaptures! Reese is just fantastic in this movie, and it never gets old! Enjoy all the pretty new Elle Woods photos:

Reese Witherspoon Talks to Dolly Parton About Growing Up, Breaking Out, and Being In Charge
Reese Witherspoon can claim many titles: Oscar-winning actress, founder of clothing and lifestyle brand Draper James, voice of Rosita the pig in December’s animated feature Sing, star and co-producer of HBO’s February miniseries Big Little Lies, and mother of three, to name just a few. But on the night of October 2, she was, first and foremost, a Dolly Parton fan. As the country legend wrapped up the second leg of her Pure & Simple tour, Witherspoon and her friends belted out hits along with the rest of the nearly 18,000-strong sellout crowd. The following afternoon, Parton called Witherspoon to talk about being a “true Southern girl,” standing up to “bull donkeys,” and knowing exactly how much to give—and not to give—to “creative vampires.” Unsurprisingly, the admiration between the women is mutual. Read on for some select moments from their conversation and pick up the December issue of InStyle, available on newsstands and for digital download Friday, November 11th.

Comments Off on “Sing” cast poses with animated animal counterparts for EW
Entertainment Weekly have published a fabulous new article on Sing, including portraits of the cast alongside their animal counterparts, created by the animation artists of Illumination Entertainment and photographer Norman Jean Roy:
Sing cast poses with animated animal counterparts in exclusive photos
Who else could get Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, and Scarlett Johansson to sing Top 40 hits as a koala, pig, and porcupine, respectively?
Only the wild minds of Illumination Entertainment could lasso such A-listers to go full animal for the latest pic from the filmmakers behind Minions and Despicable Me: Director Garth Jennings’ ensemble musical, Sing, which follows a wily producer named Buster Moon (McConaughey) who puts on a singing competition to save his theater and inspire some dreams in the process.
It turns out, even animals have fantasies of stardom, and that explains why the cast of Sing is stacked with certifiable superstars — all of whom have a shot at winning the contest and emerging on the top of the charts, thanks to a soundtrack of more than 65 song covers, from the Beatles to Kanye.
The participants, as gorgeously assembled in EW’s exclusive cast portrait above, span the species spectrum: There’s Taron Egerton’s Johnny, a soulful gorilla who wants to break out of the family crime business; Meena, a shy elephant teen who bears the ferocious vocals of Tori Kelly; Scarlett Johansson’s prickly porcupine, Ash; Seth MacFarlane’s Sinatra-spewing mouse, Mike; Gunter (Nick Kroll), a German pig; and Rosita, Reese Witherspoon’s put-upon mother of 25 piglets, who puts her own dreams on hold for her children. (See below for another shot of McConaughey with Buster Moon.)
“There’s something really wish-fulfilling about it all,” Witherspoon tells EW of the project. “We all have secret desires and part of us feels like no one sees our real talent, or our sort of true self. My character is the mom who does everything for everybody, and nobody seems to notice that she has bigger dreams and desires. I think there’s something really beautiful about our secret dreams being fulfilled.”
Witherspoon has gone down the animated route before (“My secret trick is eating M&Ms — they make me go completely nuts,” she giggles) but is in new territory with such a starry cast, a red-hot director in Jennings, and executive producer Chris Meledandri, the overseeing mind of Illumination.
