With the awards season coming up, Reese and Nicole Kidman have been doing some more promotion for Big Little Lies! They took part in a SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversation together on Monday, and you can watch the interview below – it’s a treat!
Earlier in the week Reese attended the premiere of Truth Be Told, a new AppleTV+ drama series that she produced through Hello Sunshine. Reese posed with her co-executive producer Lauren Neustadter, and star and co-executive producer Octavia Spencer on the red carpet. She looked chic in a black suit and sleek hair. Find lots of high quality photos in our Gallery!
The limited drama series follows podcaster Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer) as she is compelled to reopen the murder case that made her a national sensation and comes face-to-face with Warren Cave (Aaron Paul), the man she may have mistakenly helped to put behind bars. Based on the novel by Kathleen Barber, “Truth Be Told” provides a unique glimpse into America’s obsession with true crime podcasts and challenges its viewers to consider the consequences when the pursuit of justice is placed on a public stage.
Beginning December 6, the first three episodes of “Truth Be Told” will be available to watch on Apple TV+ in over 100 countries and regions around the world. New episodes will continue to roll out weekly, every Friday.
Whilst in the UK recently, Reese and Jennifer Aniston taped several interviews for UK morning shows. Below is a clip and screencaptures from their appearance on This Morning on Monday – it was a short but funny interview, particularly hearing Reese talk about her most embarrassing talk show appearance!
HD screencaptures from episode 3 of The Morning Show – ‘Chaos Is The New Cocaine’ – have been added to our Gallery today. This was a busier episode, but I again liked Reese’s scenes with Billy Crudup, and seeing Bradley battle with what was forced upon her.
HD screencaptures from the 2nd episode of The Morning Show – ‘A Seat At The Table’ – have been added to the Gallery today. I enjoyed seeing more of the dynamics between the characters, and the different layers and motivations to each of them, in this episode. And I particularly loved the opening scene with Reese and Billy Crudup – what a fantastic pairing!
The Morning Show premiered on AppleTV+ last Friday, and we were treated to the first 3 episodes on that day. What did you all think of it?! It wasn’t what I expected but I mostly really enjoyed it … and that cast!! Reese’s performance completely took me aback – we’ve never seen her play such an angry character before but she absolutely nailed it, and disappeared within the character. Although the storyline doesn’t grip me, I’m looking forward to seeing more of this fabulous cast together … and particularly more of Bradley Jackson.
HD screencaptures from the premiere episode are in the Gallery for you – expect more The Morning Show updates this weekend too.
America’s favorite morning news show is thrown into crisis when it becomes the news.
