Whilst browsing some Avon sites I came across a ton of Avon videos that I don’t think/can’t remember if have been posted here. So, here are a whole batch I don’t remember seeing yet:
Reese answers questions from fans during the Avon World Tour in Atlanta that was held a few weeks ago:
While in Atlanta to celebrate Avon’s 125th Anniversary and Believe World Tour, Avon Global Ambassador Reese Witherspoon responded to a question many of you asked her about how to help women in potentially abusive relationships. Click the video to hear Reese’s advice. How can you help support efforts to end domestic violence?
Melissa Stine Strohl asked Avon Global Ambassador Reese Witherspoon why she chose to support Avons philanthropic efforts and the impact it has had on her life. View Reese’s response to Melissa and check back for more Q&A with Reese Witherspoon in celebration of Avon’s 125th Anniversary.
HOW DO you raise strong and confident daughters and sons respectful to women? By talking to them, according to actress Reese Witherspoon.
“It’s important to instill in them the idea that it’s very important to respect women, and for a woman to speak out to her partner [so that he] respects you,” Witherspoon said, speaking via phone patch from Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday.
The Oscar-winning actress was at the kick-off of the 16-city “Avon Believe World Tour,” a global effort underscoring the company’s heritage of empowering women. The event jumpstarted Avon’s 125th anniversary celebration.
Since 2007, Witherspoon has been Avon’s global ambassador and honorary chair of Avon Foundation, a charity that supports women, with special focus on breast cancer awareness and prevention of domestic violence.
“One of the main points we talk about at the Avon Foundation is education, talking about things,” she noted. “It’s important to begin speaking about these issues with your children before they’re in that age where they start to leave home and want to hang out with their peers. The best thing you can do as a mother is to talk to your kids about these issues, hopefully before they come up in their lives.”
Avon celebrates it’s 125th Anniversary this year, and to mark the occasion they are going on tour across the globe! Yesterday, our Reese attended their Avon World Tour event in Atlanta, where she and Avon CEO Andrea Jung cut their birthday cake, and announced some new intitiatives.
Reese wore an ivory coloured Giambattista Valli dress with Christian Louboutin heels for one part of the event, then changed into a lovely fitted blue dress!
Further down this post you will find a video with footage and interviews with Reese at the event, plus a press release and link to the official Avon website for this celebration.
This post will be updated with photos and screencaptures in the coming hours! Photos and screencaps from the official video (posted below) have now been added to the Gallery!
I noticed the site had fallen behind on Reese’s many Avon adverts from the last few years, so I thought I’d post this one that I just came across. It’s for the Avon Ungaro perfume and is well over a year old, but it hasn’t been posted here I don’t think, and Reese looks gorgeous in it!
Whilst browsing YouTube recently I came across this video of Reese promoting Avon Voices, and I’m not entirely sure, but I think it’s new. Avon Voices is the first-ever global online Singing Talent Search for women, and Songwriting Competition for women and men – find out more at their official website.
