The Gallery has been updated today with HD film screencaptures from Reese’s most recent cinematic release, Home Again. Unfortunately I don’t have much positive to say about this film, as I felt the script and characters were lacking. However, Reese’s passion for giving women in film opportunities is always admirable, and she was proud to say that this film was centred on a woman, and directed/written and produced by women. Enjoy the pretty screencaptures:

How to Support the Time’s Up Movement from a $12 Pin to a Celebrity Golden Globes Gown

The Golden Globe Awards’ red carpet blackout may be over, but the Time’s Up initiative is just beginning. Hollywood is continuing to champion the fight against sexual harassment in the entertainment industry and beyond.

Time’s Up — the organization founded by 300 figures in the entertainment industry like Meryl Streep, America Ferrera, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and more — announced Wednesday that the organization is partnering with Condé Nast and eBay to auction off a selection of the black gowns and tuxedos worn by celebrities on the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globes.

Between January 19 and January 26, shoppers can visit ebay.com/timesup to bid on pieces worn by stars like Gal Gadot, Tracee Ellis Ross, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Emma Watson, Meryl Streep, Hugh Jackman, Neil Patrick Harris and many more. All of the proceeds benefit the Legal Defense fund started through the Time’s Up platform, which helps victims of sexual harassment in the workplace connect with legal representation and offers them public relations assistance and legal council.

“We’re thrilled that actors and others in the entertainment industry are leading in this extraordinary way to end the scourge of workplace sexual harassment,” Fatima Goss Graves, President and CEO of the National Women’s Law Center, which is administering the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund, said in a release. “Each time they’ve stepped up they’ve inspired more attorneys to join the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund and more individuals to contribute.”

To donate to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund, which will provide subsidized legal support to women and men in all industries who have experienced sexual harassment, assault or abuse in the workplace, visit its GoFundMe page. Learn more about Time’s Up, an organization of women in entertainment combating sexual harassment and inequality, on its website.

Besides bidding for one of the designer pieces worn at the Golden Globes, there are plenty of other ways you can still show your support for the biggest movement happening in Hollywood.

At the Time’s Up online merch shop, you can stock up on the same Time’s Up T-Shirts stars wore as they got ready for the Golden Globes, plus totes, notebooks, stickers and even a baby onesie. Or, to show your support on a daily basis, you can snag the small but powerful Time’s Up pin we saw many men and women also wear at the Globes, available on the website for $12. It will continue to be the most powerful accessory on the awards season red carpet circuit.

“This is a moment of solidarity, not a fashion moment,” Eva Longoria told the New York Times earlier this month. “For years, we’ve sold these awards shows as women, with our gowns and colors and our beautiful faces and our glamour. This time the industry can’t expect us to go up and twirl around. That’s not what this moment is about.”

Men in Hollywood haven’t been excluded from the conversation either, with countless stars showing their support for #MeToo as well.

“This is something that a lot of people are coming together in unity and saying we do not stand for sexual harassment,” Chris Hemsworth told PEOPLE at the Golden Globes.

“We do not stand for inequality, and me personally, I’m a feminist. We stand for equality. I believe in equality regardless of gender, regardless of race, regardless of sexual orientation, regardless of political opinion,” he added. “I believe that we all need to come together in a very compassionate way, and say, ‘Okay. Let’s even things out and let’s give each other a chance and let’s listen to one another.’”

Kristen Wiig to Star in Reese Witherspoon-Produced Comedy Series for Apple

Kristen Wiig is set to star in a comedy ordered to series at Apple that boasts Reese Witherspoon among its executive producers, Variety has confirmed.

The 10-episode, half-hour comedy is inspired by Curtis Sittenfeld’s upcoming short story collection “You Think It, I’ll Say It.” It marks Wiig’s first regular television role since she left “Saturday Night Live” in 2012. She will also serve as an executive producer on the show.

Colleen McGuinness created the series and will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Witherspoon will executive produce via her Hello Sunshine banner along with Lauren Neustadter and Wiig. Sittenfeld will serve as a consulting producer. This also marks Apple’s first half-hour scripted comedy order.

Wiig has embarked on a successful film career since leaving “SNL,” including starring in, co-producing, and co-writing the box office hit comedy “Bridesmaids,” for which she earned an Oscar nomination for best original screenplay. Her other recent film credits include “The Martian,” “Downsizing,” and “Ghostbusters.”

This marks the third project Witherspoon and Hello Sunshine have set up at Apple. She and Jennifer Aniston will also star in a currently untitled morning show drama for the streamer, and she will executive produce “Are You Sleeping,” co-produced by Chernin Entertainment with Octavia Spencer attached to star. She will also appear in a second season of the critically-acclaimed HBO series “Big Little Lies,” which she also executive produces.

In addition to the three Witherspoon projects, Apple is also prepping a reboot of “Amazing Stories” from executive producer Steven Spielberg, Ron Moore’s untitled space race drama, the drama “See” from Steven Knight and Francis Lawrence, and the docuseries “Home” from Matt Tyrnauer and Matthew Weaver.

Wiig is repped by UTA and Jackoway Tyerman. Witherspoon is repped by CAA, LBI Entertainment, and Hansen Jacobson. McGuinness is repped by WME and Hansen Jacobson.

Reese’s Legally Blonde co-star Ali Larter spoke about Reese at the recent Art of Elysium Heaven Gala:

Reese attended the Critics Choice Awards in Santa Monica last night, where Big Little Lies was nominated for several awards – and won most of them! Congratulations once again to Reese and her cast and crew for their well deserved wins. Reese posed on the red carpet with Laura Dern and Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke; inside the ceremony she was snapped with Octavia Spencer and her husband. Reese was cheering on Nicole Kidman, and the producers posed with their co-star Laura Dern and other cast & crew from the show during the ceremony and backstage – lots more fabulous Big Little Lies cast shots for us! Reese wore a black beaded dress by Prada, with Roger Vivier shoes, and Nikos Koulis jewellery.

Preview: Oprah Winfrey hosts panel on impact of Time’s Up campaign

Some of the most prominent women in Hollywood open up to Oprah Winfrey about the impact of the Time’s Up campaign on raising awareness of sexual harassment in the workplace, and what they’d like to see in the future, in a revealing discussion to be broadcast on CBS’ “Sunday Morning” January 14.

Actresses America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Tracee Ellis-Ross and Reese Witherspoon, producer Shonda Rhimes (“Scandal”), Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and attorney Nina Shaw gathered with Winfrey in Pasadena, California, earlier this week to talk about the efforts to bring change to how women are treated in the entertainment industry and around the world.

“There’s moments that you have to evaluate whether silence is going to be your only option,” says Witherspoon. “And certain times that was our only option. But now is not that time.”

Witherspoon talks about the fact that she was sexually assaulted by a director when she was just 16.

There is no playbook for these times, Winfrey notes, especially when it comes to how people should talk about the topic — or to each other.

“How do we as a society have a mature, nuanced conversation about how men and women should be relating to each other?” Winfrey asks. “Because there’s so many men and women now who are uncomfortable in their workplaces because of all that’s been uncovered and aren’t just really sure how to be. What do we say to them?”

“We’re humans. We’re all humans,” replied Portman. “And I think it’s treating people as fellow humans … it’s not because you have a daughter that you respect a woman, it’s not because you have a wife or a sister. It’s because we’re human beings, whether we’re related to a man or not. We deserve the same respect.”
